The Game Design & Development Club is focused on facilitating game development as a career, hobby, or fun way to practice various talents. We welcome students interested in all aspects of game development including creating art, writing stories, composing music, programming, or business and marketing. We also strive to promote a strong sense of comradery amongst our members and encourage them to work together to create games for personal enjoyment as well as for competitions such as game jams and hackathons.
It is our mission is to utilize game development as a platform to meaningfully expand and enhance the professional and personal lives of our members, to cultivate significant personal, community, and industry relationships, to advocate for game development related topics in the educational, social, and political realms, and to inspire future generations to take a positive interest in game development and other associated fields.
